Strong storms may be possible late Tuesday afternoon and evening, said 580 WIBW meteorologist Dave Relihan.
While a chance for scattered showers exists through mid-day, Relihan said, the stronger showers and occasional thunderstorms are likely Tuesday night. Highs will reach the mid 70s.
Relihan said some storms, mainly west of Topeka, may become severe.
Periods of rain and a few thunderstorms are likely Wednesday with most of stronger storms found south of Interstate 35 through the mid to late afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
